Salima Gilani
Marketing Director & Equity Officer

Salima is holding two positions in the organizing committee, both as the marketing manager, qualified with her impressive marketing achievements and delightful personality, and as the equity officer due to her notorious sense of fairness (a character flaw some might say). Having graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in International Business Management with Marketing minor, she is now continuing her education by taking the Executive Master of Business Administration in Technology Management at Assumption University. She is also working as the Executive Assistant at The American School of Bangkok, acting as a liaison between the Business Marketing Department and the Director’s Department. In 2004, Salima officially joined Assumption International English Debating Society (AI) and was subsequently elected as the Minister of Communications in the following year’s cabinet. She was ranked 3rd Best Speaker and Semi-Finalist at the 2nd EU-Thailand National Debating Championships.

In addition to debating, Salima was also the winner of the Assumption University Marketing Business Case Study Challenge, finalist for Marketing L’Oréal Brainstorm Competition (Thailand), and semi-finalist at Thammasat University Business Case Challenge.
